New Delhi, October 3, 2025: Elders are often viewed primarily through the lens of their medical conditions. Neha Sinha, CEO and Co-founder of Epoch Elder Care, chose a different path—one that honours their stories and preserves their dignity. With dementia projected to triple by 2050, her work focuses on compassionate, specialized care that empowers elders to live meaningfully despite the challenges of the condition.
The Early Years
Neha began her career as a counsellor in a rehabilitation centre for schizophrenia, where she witnessed the unseen battles of the human mind. This experience instilled in her a belief that true healing requires more than medicine—it demands emotional support and genuine connection.
This philosophy shaped Epoch Elder Care’s beginnings as a companionship service. However, Neha soon realized a critical gap in India’s elder care landscape: families were left to manage chronic conditions like dementia without training, support, or knowledge. In response, Epoch pivoted towards ‘serious care’ with assisted living homes, creating an ecosystem tailored to complex medical and emotional needs.
A Dream Brought to Life
Through rigorous research, global study tours, and specialized training in palliative care ethics at Sophiahemmet University, Stockholm, Neha transformed Epoch into a pioneer of premium elder care.
Her leadership and vision have earned her recognition on prestigious platforms, including Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia and BW 40 Under 40.
In September 2025, Epoch expanded its footprint with the launch of Epoch Monet House in Pune—a 10-storeyed, multispecialty assisted living home designed to provide personalized and holistic care for elders of all health profiles. To date, Epoch Elder Care has touched over 500 elderly lives and their families, offering care rooted in dignity and compassion.
Caring for the Individual, Not Just the Condition
“At Epoch, we believe in focusing on the person as much as the medical condition,” says Neha Sinha. The organization’s philosophy is rooted in person-centred care, blending compassion with innovation. Every elder is seen as an individual with unique needs, not just a patient defined by illness.
A Future Founded on Honour
Looking ahead, Neha envisions Epoch Elder Care becoming a global hub for dementia research and best practices. Her mission is to transform how India perceives, embraces, and supports elder care. Above all, she continues to champion a world where growing old with dignity is not a privilege, but a human right.
📌 Epoch Elder Care remains at the forefront of redefining senior care in India, creating spaces where the elderly are not just cared for—but truly honoured.
