Kolkata, 28 October, 2025: The All India Budo Shotokan Karate Association (AIBSKA) – Japan Shotokan Karate Association (JSKA) HQ India, held a press conference at the Press Club, Kolkata, to officially announce India’s team for the upcoming JSKA World Championship 2025, scheduled to take place at the Ehime Prefectural Budokkan, Matsuyama, Japan, from November 1–3, 2025.

The event was led by Shihan Tirthankar Nandy (7th Dan, Japan), Founder and Director of AIBSKA – JSKA India, accompanied by senior instructors, athletes, and dignitaries from the sports and martial arts community.
Shihan Nandy shared that this prestigious global championship will feature participants from over 34 nations across six continents, making it a truly international celebration of traditional karate-do.

AIBSKA – JSKA has consistently represented India in multiple world championships across South America, Europe, and Asia, advancing traditional karate-do and supporting young athletes from humble backgrounds.
