Digangana Suryavanshi Co-Founded Glamirk Sells Over 96,000 Products Within a Week of Launch

Mumbai: Actor and entrepreneur Digangana Suryavanshi, known for her work across television and films, is expanding her entrepreneurial footprint as Glamirk, the beauty brand she co-founded, records a strong start in the Indian cosmetics market. The brand has sold more than 96,548 products across India within just one week of its launch, while simultaneously building its online and offline presence.

Glamirk has been co-founded by Digangana Suryavanshi, Aqueel Ahmed, Poonam Dadhich and Vijay Laxmi Sharma, with all four co-founders actively contributing to the brand’s growth and direction. The company is being built as a contemporary beauty label offering products across multiple everyday makeup categories.

Its current portfolio includes liquid lipsticks, nail paints, kajal, liquid sindoor, eyeliner, mascara and makeup remover cream. Following the initial consumer response, Glamirk is already working towards introducing more categories and expanding its beauty portfolio in the coming months.

The brand has also been building its retail reach alongside online availability. Glamirk products are currently available across more than 500 beauty shops, cosmetic stores and beauty showrooms across India, giving the company an early omnichannel footprint.

For Digangana, the venture brings together two distinct sides of her professional journey. Having built a recognisable career as an actor, she has spent years working closely with makeup artists, beauty products and changing aesthetics as part of life in front of the camera. Glamirk now allows her to bring that familiarity with the category into her role as one of the brand’s co-founders, where she is involved in shaping a business intended for consumers beyond her celebrity audience.

Her association also reflects a wider shift in celebrity entrepreneurship. Rather than being positioned simply as the face of a beauty label, Digangana is part of the founding team behind Glamirk, while continuing her career in entertainment alongside her entrepreneurial pursuits.

For the brand, however, the larger focus remains on building an identity that can stand independently on its products, accessibility and consumer experience. India’s beauty market is increasingly driven by experimentation, wider product choice and demand emerging from both metropolitan and smaller cities.

With over 96,548 products sold in its first week, availability across 500+ retail stores and additional categories already in the pipeline, Glamirk is now looking to turn its early consumer response into sustained growth and a wider presence across the Indian beauty market.
