“He Thought of the Word First”: Vishal Mishra Credits Rocking Star Yash for Toxic’s Hit Song ‘Tabaahi’

MUMBAI — As “Tabaahi,” the highly anticipated first track from Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, continues to dominate music charts and capture hearts, singer-composer Vishal Mishra has pulled back the curtain on the song’s creative origins. In a touching revelation, Mishra credited the film’s lead, Pan-India superstar Rocking Star Yash, as the visionary force behind the track.

Taking to Instagram, Vishal shared an emotional note detailing Yash’s pivotal role in bringing “Tabaahi” to life. He revealed that Yash had envisioned the very concept of the song long before any music was recorded, describing the actor not just as a collaborator, but as a mentor and an elder brother.

“All the credit goes to my big bro @thenameisyash… He thought of the word ‘Tabaahi’ even before we made the song, and every inch of my creativity belongs to us,” Vishal wrote in his heartfelt post, ultimately calling Yash “simply the BEST.”

The celebrated composer also extended his deep gratitude to Toxic director Geetu Mohandas. He thanked Yash for introducing him to the acclaimed filmmaker, whom he described as “the energy behind it all.” Vishal concluded his post with an enthusiastic, “Onwards and upwards for #Toxic.”

Vishal’s behind-the-scenes anecdote offers fans a rare glimpse into the collaborative process driving the music of Toxic. It underscores Yash’s deep creative involvement in the project, proving his contributions extend far beyond his role in front of the camera. As “Tabaahi” continues to trend across platforms, its striking visuals and Yash’s intense on-screen chemistry with Kiara Advani have only skyrocketed the anticipation for the film.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a massive action drama written, produced, and headlined by Rocking Star Yash under Monster Mind Creations, in association with KVN Productions.

The film boasts a powerhouse ensemble cast, featuring Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi. Toxic is slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
